Job Description

The Payments Associate works closely with the Payments Manager, Client Relationship managers, and other Payments team members to set up payments for clients based in different jurisdictions. The Payments Associate will provide high quality service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction within the parameters of the specified Service Level Agreements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing accounting and administrative services for client companies.
  • Assist with the compilation of NAV calculations, administration of trades and fund reconciliations.
  • Preparation of financial statements compliant with IFRS/GAAP and statutory returns in accordance with prescribed client deadlines.
  • Monitor clients' regulatory compliance and provide help with the year-end audit process .
  • Assist with the preparation of client documentation and reporting.
  • Performing cash, positions, and market-value reconciliations.
  • Processing of subscription and redemption activity for multiple funds abiding by anti-money laundering and compliance procedures.
  • Liaising with the funds' investors, bankers, independent auditors, and other service providers to the Funds.
  • Responding to client enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the funds specifications.
  • Provide support to the administration team to ensure that bookkeeping is done in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications

  • An accounting university degree / ACCA or actively pursuing the same.
  • Minimum of one year in an accounting/finance environment and minimum six months in fund accounting / investments.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments.
  • Fluency in English mandatory (verbal and written).
